in Puerahoefen - Bucklige Welt - Austria

This evening Franz Gruber and i drove again to the  place in Puerahoefen in the hills of the "Bucklige Welt" where Franz has a fixed astropier installed.
The weather here was very dry and excellent again. This place has on South, West and East absolutely NO lights, no streets etc. Its simply dark. To the North there is a little light glow from a small village down in the valley. But this does not influence the overall quality of this place at 690m above sealevel.
The milkyway  especially in the South is impressive. We tried first to image the Southern Milkyway - Franz with a 300mm F2.8(!) Canon Lens and i with my 50mm F1.8 Canon lens.
